I. Product Positioning
The crusher spindle is the core load-bearing and transmission component of crushing equipment such as jaw crushers, cone crushers, and impact crushers. It is made from high-quality alloy structural steel or quenched and tempered steel supplied by our company (with key grades including 42CrMo, 35CrMo, and 40CrNiMoA), and is manufactured through precision die forging, CNC precision machining, customized quenching and tempering heat treatment, and surface strengthening processes. Specifically designed for the demanding operating conditions encountered when crushing rocks, ores, construction materials, and other similar substances, the crusher spindle plays a critical role in driving the high-speed rotation of the crushing hammers or plates, transmitting extremely high torque, and withstanding impact loads. As the “heart component” ensuring efficient, stable, and long-term operation of the crusher, it is ideally suited for heavy-duty applications such as mining, construction material processing, and metallurgical raw material crushing.
II. Core Advantages
- Heavy-duty impact resistance, exceptional load-bearing capacity This product is made from high-purity alloy structural steel carefully selected by the company. Through die forging, the metal flow lines are continuous and intact, achieving a density of ≥99.5%. Combined with tempering heat treatment (quenching + high-temperature tempering), it exhibits a tensile strength of ≥1200 MPa, a yield strength of ≥900 MPa, and an impact toughness of ≥30 J/cm². It can reliably withstand the high-frequency impact loads generated during crushing (with maximum impact forces reaching up to 500 kN) as well as extremely high torque. Compared to conventional carbon steel spindles, its load-bearing capacity is improved by more than 50%, virtually eliminating the risk of fracture or deformation.
- Wear-resistant and fatigue-resistant, with a long service life. The key mating surfaces of the main shaft (the areas connected to the bearing and flywheel) have undergone induction hardening treatment, achieving a surface hardness of HRC 50–55 and a surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.6 μm, resulting in excellent wear resistance. The entire component has been subjected to shot peening for surface strengthening, which eliminates residual stresses on the surface and increases fatigue strength by more than 40%. The fatigue life is ≥8×10⁶ cycles. Under continuous operation conditions lasting 24 hours, the service life is 1.5 to 2 times longer than that of conventional industry products, significantly reducing the frequency of downtime and replacement.
- High-precision machining with strong operational stability. The components are precision-machined using CNC lathes, grinding machines, and honing processes. The dimensional tolerance for the spindle shaft diameter is ≤ ±0.02 mm; the roundness error is ≤ 0.01 mm; the straightness error is ≤ 0.015 mm/m; and the coaxiality of critical mating surfaces is ≤ 0.02 mm. After completion, the products undergo dynamic balancing tests (accuracy grade ≤ G2.5), and when rotating at high speeds (linear velocity ≤ 45 m/s), the vibration level is ≤ 2.5 mm/s, ensuring smooth operation of the crushing equipment while reducing noise and component wear.
- Strong material compatibility and broad operational condition adaptability. Leveraging the company’s alloy steel material system, we can custom-select substrate models based on the type of crusher (jaw, cone, or impact) and the material being crushed (hard rock, ore, construction waste): For heavy-duty applications, we recommend 40CrNiMoA to enhance impact resistance; for high-temperature and dusty environments, we suggest 35CrMo to optimize heat resistance; and for corrosive environments, we recommend 12Cr13 stainless steel to improve corrosion resistance. These materials are suitable for temperature ranges from -40℃ to 400℃ and can handle multi-media operating conditions.
- Structurally optimized design, easy installation and maintenance. Through 3D modeling and finite element analysis, the structural features such as the transition fillets on the shaft body, keyways, and steps are optimized to avoid stress concentrations. The shaft ends adopt standardized connection designs (flanges, keyways, and threaded connections) that meet the installation requirements of mainstream crusher models, ensuring easy assembly and disassembly and reducing maintenance costs.

V. Quality Assurance
- The base material is made from high-quality alloy steel sourced from the company’s qualified supplier network, and comes with a complete material certification, spectral analysis report, and mechanical property test report, ensuring quality from the very beginning.
- The entire production process complies with the ISO 9001:2015 quality system. Key processes—such as forging, heat treatment, and precision machining—are equipped with online inspection devices, enabling 100% full-process inspection.
- The finished products undergo non-destructive testing—including ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle testing (MT)—to ensure that they are free from internal defects such as cracks, inclusions, and porosity. At the same time, all relevant inspections, including dimensional accuracy, hardness, and dynamic balance, are completed.
- We offer customized design services (including structural simulation and strength verification), installation guidance, after-sales maintenance, and spindle repair services. During the warranty period, we provide free technical support and troubleshooting. We also offer precise customization tailored to the specific crusher model provided by the customer.
