Tube Sheet – The Core Sealing and Pressure-Bearing Component of Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers
I. Product Positioning
The tube sheet is the core sealing and pressure-bearing component of equipment such as pressure vessels, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, condensers, and evaporators. It is made of high-quality carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and special alloys as base materials through core processes including CNC drilling, precision machining, and surface treatment. Specifically designed for tube bundle fixation, medium isolation, and sealing, it undertakes the key functions of supporting heat exchange tubes, withstanding internal pressure of equipment, and ensuring no medium leakage. It is the core part that guarantees efficient heat transfer, safe and stable operation of heat exchange equipment, and is suitable for complex working conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and corrosion.
II. Core Advantages
- High-strength pressure bearing and strong structural stability: Selected high-quality base materials such as Q345R, 304/316L stainless steel, 16MnDR, and Hastelloy, with tensile strength ≥470MPa, yield strength ≥235MPa, and compressive strength adapted to design pressure ≤35MPa. It can stably withstand internal medium pressure and temperature stress during equipment operation. Through optimized structural design (such as thickened edges and reinforcement ring design), there is no risk of deformation or cracking, and the structural safety factor is ≥1.5.
- High-precision drilling and excellent sealing performance: Adopting CNC deep hole drilling machines and gantry milling machines for precision machining, the tube hole dimensional tolerance can reach H7-H8 grade, with aperture error ≤±0.02mm, hole center distance deviation ≤0.03mm, and hole wall roughness Ra≤1.6μm. The tube holes are countersunk and chamfered, and after expanding/welding with heat exchange tubes, the sealing performance is excellent, with leakage rate ≤1×10⁻⁶Pa・m³/s, preventing cross-contamination of media.
- Both corrosion resistance and wear resistance, long service life: Corresponding materials are selected according to working conditions. Stainless steel/special alloy materials can resist corrosion from acidic, alkaline, salt spray and other corrosive media; carbon steel materials have significantly improved corrosion resistance after galvanizing, painting or lining treatment. The surface is shot-blasted and passivated to reduce medium erosion and wear. Under continuous operation conditions, the service life is 2-3 times longer than that of ordinary tube sheets, reducing equipment maintenance costs.
- Customized adaptation and wide scenario compatibility: Can customize tube sheet size (diameter φ300-φ5000mm, thickness 20-300mm), number of tube holes (10-5000), tube hole arrangement (equilateral triangle, square, rotated square) and connection form (expansion joint, welding, combination of expansion and welding) according to equipment model and working condition requirements. It is suitable for a temperature range of -196℃~600℃, compatible with various media such as gas, liquid, and steam, meeting the personalized needs of equipment in different industries.
- High processing efficiency and controllable cost: Adopting automated CNC processing equipment and special tooling fixtures, the processing cycle is shortened by more than 30% compared with traditional processes. Optimizing the blanking and processing processes, the material utilization rate reaches more than 80%, and the unit cost can be further reduced during mass production while ensuring product consistency.
