Main characteristics of this alloy:

310S stainless steel is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. Due to the higher percentage of chromium and nickel, it has much better creep strength, can operate continuously at high temperatures, and has good high-temperature resistance. Above 800℃, it begins to soften, and the allowable stress begins to decrease continuously. The maximum operating temperature is 1200℃. Due to the high nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr) content, it has good oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, and high-temperature performance.

310S Applications:

It is a high-temperature strength, high-temperature oxidation-resistant alloy material with applications in many industries:
1. Furnace tubes, furnace tanks, and conveyor belts for heat treatment furnaces

2. Shafts, structural parts, and containers that can withstand temperatures below 1150℃

3. Anchoring parts and pins for refractory materials

4. Can also be used as electric heating materials
